Ultimate Cardio-8™ Cardiovascular Health Formula is a comprehensive nutritional formula that supports healthy cholesterol and healthy triglyceride levels already within the normal ranges. Increases good (HDL) cholesterol levels. Ultimate Cardio-8 contains:
  • Policosanol: In a clinical study, supplementation with Policosanol resulted in a 14 percent increase in HDL cholesterol over an 8-week period. Extensive preliminary and double-blind research has demonstrated that taking 10 to 20 mg per day of Policosanol results in significant changes in blood cholesterol levels, including total cholesterol (17 to 21% lower on average), LDL cholesterol (21 to 29% lower), and HDL cholesterol (7 to 29% higher).
  • Co-Q10 is clinically shown support arterial health. Supplementation significantly improves good cholesterol levels. Additionally, CoQ10 supports healthy heart contractility and circulation.
  • Garlic is clinically shown to increase good cholesterol levels, particularly HDL-2 cholesterol.
  • Guggul, is an approved treatment for elevated cholesterol in India. One double-blind trial studying the effects of guggul reported that serum cholesterol dropped by 17.5%.
  • Plant sterol: According to FDA, scientific evidence demonstrates that diets that include plant sterol/stanol esters may reduce the risk of Coronary Heart disease (CHD). The scientific evidence establishes that including plant sterol/stanol esters in the diet helps to lower blood total and LDL cholesterol levels.
  • B6 & Folic acid are necessary for the breakdown or lowering of homocysteine, an amino acid that plays a supporting role in cardiovascular health

I started taking Ultimate Cardio-8 & Red Yeast Rice in May 2010. My Blood Tests are as follows: May 2010 Oct 2010 Cholesterol 258 151 Triglyceride 103 74 HDL 77 53 LDL 164 86 I would highly recomend these products! I was shocked and elated when I received my October test results from Doctor! I was hoping these products would work, but was suprised at how well. I am telling everyone I know.
