Naturopathic cardiologist to lend expertise to company’s product development and educational efforts

Scottsdale, Ariz. – March 5, 2012 – Hi-Health, Arizona’s largest retailer of high quality health foods and nutritional supplements, announced today that Decker Weiss, NMD, FASA, has joined its team as Senior Medical Advisor. Weiss is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine with 14 years of practice as a naturopathic cardiologist, with additional specialty in natural treatments for autoimmune disease, gastrointestinal issues, weight loss and many other chronic diseases. He is the founder of Weiss Natural Medicine in Scottsdale, a progressive cardiovascular and naturopathic medical practice. He received training at the Arizona Heart Institute, in the former Columbia Hospital System and the Arizona Heart Hospital. Additionally, Weiss completed his cardiology training by becoming a fellow of the American Society of Angiology and consulting staff to the Arizona Heart Hospital.

Dr. Weiss is also the author of The Weiss Method, A Natural Program for Reversing Heart Disease, a best seller in the health industry. He has lectured worldwide to physicians and pharmacists on how to treat chronic disease with few or no medications.
